INTERVIEW | Richard Horne looks ahead to visit of Dewsbury

The Dons head coach says his side are on track with their start to life in the Betfred Championship with fellow promoted side Dewsbury Rams next up.

Doncaster RLFC face a familiar foe this Sunday, April 28 at the Eco-Power Stadium, in a Dewsbury Rams side that are also trying to find their feet in the Betfred Championship. 

Horne says the Dons are where they expected to be and if anything a little better off,  "Looking at our first four fixtures everyone is writing us off, so to come away with a win within those games for us is a really positive start.

"The only game we haven't been in was the Featherstone one, it's been progressive and a learning curve for us," he said. 

The Dons head coach went on to speak about this weekend's fixture, playing against a side more familiar to Doncaster in recent years saying, "They've strengthened and so have we so it's going to be a completely different challenge for us, one that we're looking forward to especially being at home."
